Like almost every home in town, we have above the ground power lines running straight from the nearest power line Eversource pole. These lines connected to just below our southeast roof line and ran straight down to the electric meter. This 400amp service was installed in 2020 to latest Town of Greenwich standards.   After doing a bit a research and consulting with David Baltimore he asked if we had any “living space” that was within 3 feet of the outside power lines. He knew at once that the power line wires were located in a space that would pose a problem. Unfortunately, we had two major living areas where we had a study room for homework as well as my wife’s office desk- both areas where our family spent at least 20hrs a week of direct exposure. David tested these areas and the results were shockingly high by all standards European and American. The only realistic solution was to work with our electrician and Eversource to remove all above ground lines leading to our home and bury them underground with a meter over 50 feet away. After doing this we re-tested and all EMF levels were extremely low and safe. A huge “thank you” to David Baltimore for not only bringing this to our attention but working on a remediation plan that was suitable and safe for our family.  We highly recommend this company for addressing areas in your home that can be dangerous hot spots.
